Day 1:'Prelude'

Hello readers and welcome! This Blog is about the biggest & baddest Massive Multiplayer Online game:  World of Warcraft!

I've recently started school at college and since have put down all games, MMO (massive multiplayer online) or otherwise. It looks as though I'm doing well at school, and have a little bit of flex time. So I figure I'll use this time to try the trial version of WoW (World of Warcraft).

This wont be the first MMO I've played though. I played Dungeons and Dragons Online for about two years, Age Of Conan & other popluar titles: Diablo I, Diablo II, C&C, Starcraft.

Taking a break from gaming while travelling and working a few years ago, I missed the big WoW release. When returned I found friends were playing newer MMO's I never got around to WoW.

I installed the came onto the computer, created an account to play, skimmed the manual, & it looks as though it's going to take several hours to patch this sucker! > . <

I'm going to log then for the night. I'll be at it then tomorrow!  'Character creation' will be on the menu! Maybe a little questing on the side as well. Thanks for reading, your welcome to comment.

An expansion to the game: Wrath of the Lich King was released at the dawn of the 13th of Nov, just hours ago.  To those who have gotten the expansion today, enjoy your day!
